40.4 Handicaps
These are rules put together for our 40.4 Handicappers to help speed up play on the golf course. This is the highest handicap given to women by the NCGA.
Rules:
Important Note: These rules are for the Legion Linksters Tournaments ONLY!

Handicap is 40.4
- Do not play past a score of 10 or more per hole. (unless your feeling quite competetive that day)
- Pick your ball up when you reach the score of 10 for each hole and proceed to the next hole. (If you don't pick your ball up at 10 and continue to play, you must count those strokes. These rules are for helping with the speed of play not for improving your score.)
- Do not attemp tricky shots or lies. Drop your ball at the closest relief no nearer the hole.
- If you hit the ball in the water please do not attempt to hit another ball over the water but take a drop on the other side. Make sure you count for it in your score.
